• What is the Colo-Comfort?
  The Colo-Comfort Freedom Pouch is a revolutionary ostomy bag covering system. The Colo-Comfort Freedom Pouch is a belt with a pouch covering attached to it. The Colo-Comfort Freedom Pouch is washable and durable. It is designed for Ostomates with stomas that are near or above the belt line and provides the user with the confidence to return to their normal activities and regain the freedom they deserve. Normally, the Colo-Comfort Freedom Pouch is worn for 3-4 hours a day, during activities ranging from playing golf to going out for dinner.
  
• Are there any harmful effects from the spray?
  The Colo-Comfort Odor Eliminating Spray is non-toxic and non-hazardous. However, if a large amount of this product happens to get on your skin or in your eyes, flush the affected area with water.
  
• How about the Absorbent? Does it irritate the skin?
  We have found that our Colo-Comfort Odor Eliminating Absorbent actually enhances the adhesion between the "port" and the body. Our studies have shown that our absorbent helps keep the skin "drier", for up to 24 hours, with no irritation.
  
• How much is a "good" coating of spray or absorbent inside the ostomy bag?
  Here is a general rule for using the Colo-Comfort odor eliminating spray and absorbent: Spray a thorough coating (10 seconds) of the odor eliminating spray inside the bag. Pour 2-3 tablespoons of the absorbent into the bag and shake it ... proceed as normal. This process should be repeated daily, depending on a person's discharge.
